The Coronan Accords were a treaty detailing the terms and conditions to the members of the Icarus Alliance, which the accords created. They were signed by representatives of the four member races, and the original copy was kept on Corona, while each race got a copy to be placed in their capital cities. Much of the accords detailed trade regulations, which sectors each race was permitted to expand into, which areas were deemed "Neutral" etc. However about a quarter of the Accords were similar to the Geneva Convention, detailing what types of weapon were and were not permitted, the treatment of POWs, what were deemed War Crimes. One of the most specified points was that if one race declared war on someone in or out of the alliance without the other races agrreing with it and supporting it, then they would be barred from the alliance until the war finished, and afterwards would suffer from sanctions for approximately 5 years, after which they would be fully reinstated. HOWEVER, if they went to war to protect an ally from outside the alliance from an attack, this would not be necessary. If that ally had been the aggressive party however, the same rules applied.
